inToday I did Nike’s 45 minute workout with their app on my Iphone. WOW! Was it a hard workout and I wasn’t able to keep up with the second half of the workout but, I’ll get there. I’m at 276 pounds and down .5% on body fat with a gain of 2 LBS of muscle.

inI’m getting better at working out and making healthier food choices when I travel. It’s sometimes hard to do, at least it is for me when I’m on the road. I did get 3 workouts in last week and one was a super hard workout and was able to eat healthy for the most part. I’m holding at 277 Lbs and back home eating better this week with 4 workouts scheduled.

This post is late but, for a good reason. I was on my workout bike ride till almost sunset and then pretty much collapsed when I got home. The good new is I’m back on track headed in the right direction at 280 Lbs and the best news is I can now make it up the steep hill on my ride without stopping. This is a turning point for sure. I’m going to do the Raw meals again this week for six days so let’s see how much that helps for the second week in a row.

inThis week I.m back to 281 Lbs (ouch!) – this was a hard week with the drive to and from Texas (4 days in a car). I was able to work out once there in the hotel gym but, I ate too much fast food on the drive. I’m looking forward to this week with my 6 day Raw Food Plan and a couple of extra workouts on the schedule. (plus no BEER!) I hope to be back on track by this time next Sunday. Ciao.

279.5 Lbs, I broke the 280 mark! Thanks to my Trainer Abe, LIfe Coach Mia and the folks at Go Raw! Thanks for the support and help.

inNo change in my weight to report this week but, after today’s bike ride I do notice a big difference when riding my bike. I now make it up most hills with no problem I just need to tackle the big one on the way back from the beach. By the end of the summer???? It a goal!

inI’m really starting to notice how much better I feel. I have more energy and can even walk up a couple of flights of stairs without huffing and puffing as much. My weight is now about 281 or 281.5 according to my scale at home but, the big test will be this week when my trainer does all my measurements again, it will be good to see what progress I’ve made in body fat vs muscle percentages.
I’m off for a long bike ride today, not only for the exercise but, the enjoyment of being outdoors in the fresh air by the beach. With the hot weather here I’m sure there will be a fair amount of bikini clad ladies out.
I’ve found a great raw vegan place that makes a pretty good green blend with spinach, kale and a bunch of other ingredients that are all healthy but they add a little banana and apple so this actually tastes good. http://www.gorawlifecenter.com I had the vegan fajitas yesterday for lunch and they were pretty good. I’ll definitely get them again.

I need to post my fitness stats every Sunday so this is late.
Weight is 285.5 Lbs and I have located two vendors close to my house that sell fresh wheatgrass in the 1oz, 2oz and 3oz sizes along with a healthy selection of raw fruit and vegetable juices. I’ve been working to eat more raw foods and have started with raw almonds vs the roasted/salted ones I love. I was able to pick up a bag yesterday at Trader Joe’s and they are packaged in smaller single serving bags so I can take them with me for a health snack. I just need to get use to the difference in taste. I’m working in two to three meals a week as vegan or vegetarian focusing on raw items. So next week I’ll report what days/meals where vegan/vegetarian and what I ate for those meals. Tomorrow I’m back with my trainer at the gym.
